Leaf Turned Festival Offers Alcohol Free Alternative

The 32nd annual Turned Leaf Festival is offering an alcohol free alternative to going to Oktoberfest.

The event put on by Coulee Council on Addictions kicks off Saturday 28, at Myrick Park. There will lots festival activities and even some live music throughout the day. Even though there will be no alcohol, organizers say it doesn’t affect the turnout.

“We get a very good turnout for people in recovery, and their family, and people who just choose not to drink. To be able to have that combination of people is a really good thing too,” according to Executive Director, Keith Lease.

The event runs from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m.
