‘Little Britches Dairy Show’ continues tradition of promoting dairy industry in Vernon County
The show was part of the Vernon County Fair in Viroqua
VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) – The Vernon County Fair is continuing in Viroqua.
The 30th edition of the “Little Britches Dairy Show” took place Friday at the fairgrounds.
The event was created as a way to include kids under the age of 8 and get them excited about careers in the dairy industry.
A little more than 80 kids took part.
Organizers hope the excitement the event generated will return in the coming years.
“It’s a good experience to get the kids here, involved in the fair,” said Little Britches chair Gail Klinker. “Give them a reason to want to come back to the fair. And hopefully once they become 4-H age, they’ll want to show at the fair.”
The fair continues through Sunday.
Schedule details are available here.
