Little kids show little goats at West Salem Interstate Fair
WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse Interstate Fair in West Salem gave a unique opportunity to some kids Sunday.
The Kids with Kids Goat show allows kids ages 3 through second grade to show a goat like they would in a normal goat show.
The kids could bring their own goat or borrow one that the fair has available.
They walked the goats around and answer questions to receive a ribbon and a gift.
“Oh my goodness, this is the happiest time of the year for the two-legged kids and the four-legged kids. They are excited just to be here,” said goat barn superintendent Kimy Nerby.
This is one of the last events at the fair, as it ended Sunday night.
