Local fundraiser and blood drive helps support La Crosse Jaycees

The dual fundraiser and drive were created to help raise funds for the group's projects that are still to come

LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – A fun community fundraiser was held today to support the La Crosse Jaycees.

The Fair Food Fundraiser and Blood Drive took place today at the Radisson Hotel.

The Fair Food Fundraiser was hosted with the help of Stumpy’s Concessions while the Versiti Blood center and Radisson Hotel came together to host the blood drive.

The group donates time and money each year to local events and projects like La Crosse Neighbor’s Day and the Rotary Lights.

With cancellations due to Covid-19, the dual fundraiser and drive were created to help raise funds for the group’s projects that are still to come.

“We need to raise some funds. We do the Toys for Tots here in town, and with the way the year’s been, we think it’s gonna be a big year, we hope it’s going to be a big year. So we still need to have some funds to get ready for that,” said Jason Jones, a General Member of the La Crosse Jaycees.
