Local La Crosse businesses celebrate Small Business Saturday
LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Though Black Friday kicks off the holiday shopping season, Small Businesses Saturday is another chance to find great local deals.
Joshua Larson of Larson’s General says it’s a great chance for people to get to know their downtown, especially when the weather is good.
“It helps because it gets people out and about. Helps that the weather’s so nice,” said Larson. “But usually, they’re not just going to one place. They usually come and check out the entire downtown as a whole. It spreads business around and encourages people to check out other places.”
And in La Crosse, there are plenty of places to choose from.
Downtown Main Street representatives also say shopping locally also makes a difference as area businesses are still navigating through the pandemic.
