Local organization working to get out the vote
Not only is it a presidential election, but there are a number of federal, state, and local races
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – The election is just around the corner and some want to make sure you get out and vote. The League of Women Voters is putting out door hangers in some neighborhoods to remind people to cast their ballots.
Not only is it a presidential election, but there are a number of federal, state, and local races.
With the issues surrounding the pandemic and the postal service, some worry voter turnout could be very low this year. The goal of this campaign is to make sure people vote and vote safely.
“The thing that’s important this year about getting out your vote, is to think about it ahead of time and make a plan,” said Peter Nelson, with the League of Women Voters.
