Local scavenger hunt for families means fun in the sun
The point of the event is to get people out and enjoying time with one another
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – It’s important for kids to get outside, play and exercise, now maybe more than ever.
But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
Well this morning, First Free Church helped create some fun with a family scavenger hunt.
Families were tasked with finding about 20 items and take pictures of them from bugs to family selfies.
The families only needed to complete one item to receive their frozen treat.
As the children’s pastor Robyn Foye told us, the point of the event is to get people out and enjoying time with one another, “Families could as many as they want, and start from wherever they wanted, and just take a picture and really just enjoy being together.”
While the ending location was at Myrick Park, families were allowed to begin wherever they chose, in efforts to keep socially distant.
