Lola Belle Lawton
Lola Belle Lawton, age 94 years, of Wonewoc, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Elroy Health Services in Elroy, Wisconsin.
She was born on May 13, 1925 to Albert Roy and Merle Lola (Kanable) Miller in Viola, where she also graduated from the Viola High School Class of 1942.
Lola Belle later met and married the love of her life, Leslie L. “Essie” Lawton on June 1, 1943. Together they shared 67 wonderful years until Leslie’s passing on June 27, 2010.
Lola Belle worked 40 plus years for Ray-O-Vac in Wonewoc. She loved her family and enjoyed get togethers where she provided wonderful meals with her good cooking.
Survivors include her children, Marita (Richard) Davis of Belleville, Illinois, Claudette (Ken) Haase of Hillsboro, Rudy Lawton of Wonewoc and Roger Lawton (Kathy Frayer) of Ramona, California; grandchildren, Tiffany Davis (Dan) Regna, Todd (Lorrie) Haase, Kindra (Tony) Pladies, Tonya (Troy) Gile, Tami Cahak and Tasha (Dick) Pedretti; many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren and sister-in-law, Margret Fuller.
In addition to her husband, Leslie; she was preceded in death by her Parents; sisters, Lois Frye and Avenelle Frye; brother, Darrell Miller and granddaughter, Kimberly Ross.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc, with Pastor Aaron Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Eden Cemetery.
