Luther High hosts blood drive in Onalaska
Luther High has held a blood drive for 15 years
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) – A local blood drive is helping meet a critical need.
Students and staff at Onalaska’s Luther High School held a drive Tuesday.
The drive comes as hospitals throughout our area are raising concerns about a severe shortage.
That’s why organizers said they want to help.
“We put things together and we were able to make it happen on days when we didn’t have students in the building. And help out with a need that really nationally is almost in crisis mode,” said Luther High School director of mission advancement John Byus.
This is the 15th year of the drive at Luther High School.
And it is Luther’s third blood drive this year.
