Madison police investigate homicide on east side
Possible victim drove away, crashed, found dead
MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating a possible homicide on the city’s east side.
Officers say they responded to a call of shots fired at 2:07 a.m. Wednesday at a Mobil Gas Station at 3019 East Washington Avenue. Officers say they found shell casings when they arrived on scene.
A short time later, police say a possible victim was found. They believe the victim drove away and crashed. The victim was found dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
