Mainly Sunny & Mild Day, Thunderstorms Likely Late Tuesday & Early Wednesday -Derek Sibley
Clouds this morning will clear out and give way to a mainly sunny day with temperatures slightly above normal this afternoon. Watching for the threat of severe weather coming up.
Today’s Planner: Mostly Sunny. High Temperature 62F. Winds W 10-20 MPH.
We may see some cloudy skies develop later this morning with temperatures in the low 40s, but by noon those clouds will clear out and skies turn partly cloudy with temperatures warming up to the low 50s. Skies continue to clear and will see mostly sunny and mild conditions with temperatures warming up to the upper 50s to low 60s. Clear skies will be in place by early this evening with temperatures falling to the low 50s.
Showers & Thunderstorms Tomorrow-Early Wednesday
A strong low-pressure system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms across the area Tuesday afternoon through early Wednesday morning. Some of the storms could turn strong to severe too.
Severe Risk in Effect
A level 2 slight risk of severe weather has been issued for most of the area, especially late Tuesday afternoon and night. A level 2 risk means that scattered severe thunderstorms are possible. The main threats with these storms will be damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.
Next 8 Days
Behind the system that will bring us severe weather, it will be turning very windy with temperatures also dropping.
