Major League Fishing returning to La Crosse for Pro Circuit title round

The six-day tournament takes place at Veterans Freedom Park

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Sportsmen from around the U.S. and even the world hope to have a “reel” good time in La Crosse this week.

The title round of Major League Fishing’s Pro Circuit launches Tuesday at Veterans Freedom Park.

Anglers will wrap up their day at 3 each afternoon with a weigh-in.

The series isn’t new to La Crosse, but the area offers a lot to bring them back.

“This is a great fishery. This is a wonderful spot to catch a lot of quality bass. And it’s a great fishing community,” said Dave Washburn, Major League Fishing’s operations vice president.

This weekend, there will be a fishing and outdoor expo at Veterans Freedom Park as part of the tournament.
