Man dies after apparently changing tire in Arcadia

ARCADIA, WI — An Eau Claire man died apparently trying to change a tire to an end loader in Arcadia when he had a medical emergency Tuesday night.

Emergency crews responded to an EMS call at about 6:30 p.m. at the Arcadia Town Shop, 26051 State Rd 95. Rescue personnel CPR and used an AED on 35-year-old Stephen Bickell II, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

The incident is still under investigation, but there were no indications of foul play, trauma or mechanical failure.
