Man dies in industrial accident in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal industrial accident on a freighter moored on the city’s lakefront.
Police say emergency workers were called about 9:30 p.m. Saturday when crewmembers found that a worker had died while operating a conveyor belt inside the ship.
The victim was identified as a 61-year-old man who worked for the shipping company. He was not a Milwaukee resident. The man’s name was not immediately released.
