Man sentenced for La Crosse County burglaries

LA CROSSE, Wis. — An Adams, Wisconsin, man will spend three years in prison for a series of burglaries in La Crosse County.

29-year-old Brandon Kinder pleaded guilty to four felony burglary counts Friday morning in La Crosse County Court.

According to court documents, Kinder broke in to Charlie’s Inn in October 2010 and stole money and cigarettes.

Kinder also said he was the lookout for another man who broke in to four La Crosse homes, and homes in the towns of Shelby and Campbell. The men stole electronics, cash and other items.

The rest of the more than 20 charges against Kinder were dismissed.

After his prison sentence, Kinder will serve two years of extended supervision.

Kinder is currently serving time in state prison on another charge.
