Man’s Craigslist ad offers ‘free’ weed
A Massachusetts man was allegedly trying to transfer marijuana by listing plastic bags with ‘free’ marijuana inside on Craigslist.
According to a UPI.com post, the bags were ranging in price from $20 to $90 and the marijuana inside was listed as free.
Massachusetts recently approved the possession and growing of small amounts of marijuana, but the sale of the plant is still regarded as illegal to sell.
As of Wednesday morning, the listing on Craigslist is live, but the user is now not offering the free weed.
“I’m not advertising free marijuana gifts. Oh no. I’m just saying that I’m awesome. E-mail me and we can go out for dinner. And talk more about the subject,” the post now reads.
