Marie Agnes Geier

Marie Agnes Geier, 88, of rural Cashton, WI, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020, at her home.

Marie was born November, 27, 1931, to Alfred and Elizabeth (Guanella) Bornheimer, in Genesse, Depot, WI. Her parents later moved to Cashton where Marie graduated high school with the class of 1949.

On February 18, 1952, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert “Bob” Geier, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cashton. Marie had a strong faith that guided her and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Marie was a beautiful mom and homemaker.

Marie is survived by two sons, Rodney Geier of Leon, WI, and John (Carol) Geier of Prior Lake, MN; a daughter, Jean Geier of Cashton; a sister, Alberta (Ed) Wolf; brother Louis (MaryAnn) Bornheimer; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cashton. Beginning at 10:45 will be a time for eulogies and testimonials. Father Michael Klos will officiate. Burial will follow at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Pine Hollow. Family and friends are invited for visitation Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
