Burke: It is Wisconsin's future and there's a lot at stake here
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WKBT) — Mary Burke has visited each side of the state recently.
She was touring other parts of the state Monday and will visit others on Tuesday.
She’s been working to hit every corner of the state over the past few days. Yesterday in Milwaukee she made a final pitch to all potential voters.
“It certainly looks like it’s going to be a strong turnout. But that’s also why I’m here. Making sure people understand how important it is to get people out to vote. It is Wisconsin’s future and there’s a lot at stake here, so we want to make sure that people understand their voice needs to be heard. And the way they can make that happen is get out and vote,” said Burke.
Burke is slightly behind in the latest Marquette law school poll.
Governor Scott Walker visited Onalaska on Monday.
