Matthew ‘Ace Boogy’ Serra

Matthew H. “Ace Boogy” Serra, 35, of La Crosse passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 9, 1987, to Stephen and Dorothy (Rustay) Serra in Kingston, PA.

Matt, loved to cook and take long walks with his best friend and dog, Lil GG. He was the person who would give the shirt off his back or travel cross country to help a friend. He also liked to make someone laugh and was constantly telling strangers, “You dropped your pocket,” to get a laugh out of them. He enjoyed freestyling with his guys, and was always down for a road trip or an adventure.

Matt is survived by the love of his life, Abbey Fredrickson; two children, his “mini twin,” son Ambrose Noè Tuch-Serra and his “miracle baby,” daughter Aleda Lynn Serra; three brothers and sisters, Michael (Keri) Serra, Heather (Leighanna) Serra-Cobb, and Scott Serra; his maternal grandfather Harold Rustay; many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and maternal grandmother Ethel Rustay.

A celebration of life will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on August 10, at the Onalaska American Legion.
