Mauston mobile home considered total loss after morning fire

MAUSTON, Wis. (WKBT)–A mobile home in Mauston is considered a total loss after a fire broke out Saturday morning. Two people were assessed by EMS at the scene, while two others were transported to a local hospital as a safety precaution.

It happened at a home at 510 Lincoln Street Lot #36. The Mauston Fire Department said the cause appears to be accidental because of an electrical issue.

A second home also caught fire but it was extinguished.

The American Red Cross has been called in to help the residents.
