Melrose-Mindoro reaches sectional final with 50-25 win over Neillsville

Melrose-Mindoro had won their last two playoff games by an average of 37 points. Thursday’s sectional semifinal wasn’t quite as lopsided, but it was still a double-digit Mustang win.

The Mustangs advanced to the sectional final with a 50-25 win over Neillsville at Black River Falls High School.

The Mustangs will face two seed Unity on Saturday for a trip to state.

Also in D4, Aquinas advanced to their sectional final thanks to an 86-40 win over Mineral Point. Lexi Donarski led the Blugolds with 24 points.
