Melting snow, rain cause mud and rock slides in Crawford Co.
CRAWFORD CO., Wis. (WKBT) — The snow thaw and recent rain caused some mud and rock slides in Crawford County.
Crews were out along Highway 35 along the Mississippi River Thursday morning working to clear debris and make sure the area was safe.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says loose mud, rocks, and debris created issues for Highway 35.
The road was never shut down.
