Memorial Day holiday will alter La Crosse refuse and yard waste services
LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Some services for La Crosse refuse and yard waste collection will be different due to the holiday weekend.
The Isle La Plume Yard Waste & Brush Site, the Street Department and the Recycling Department office will be closed Monday, May 30.
There will be no collection on Monday. Harter’s Quick Clean Up garbage and recycling collection will be a day late due to the holiday. That means Monday’s route will run on Tuesday, Tuesday’s route will run on Wednesday, and so on.
Finally, Large Item Collection ends at end of day on May 27. Property owners are responsible for the proper disposal of any items left behind, the city says.
