Minnesota house candidate Dan Feehan speaks with small businesses

WINONA, Minn. (WKBT)–A challenger for Jim Hagedorn’s seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives First District talked to struggling business owners today.

Dan Feehan, a democratic candidate who lost to Hagedorn in 2018, held a virtual meeting with several business owners.

Some of the issues discussed included a lack of internet access, loss of sales caused by coronavirus, and a desire for more testing.

They say more testing will allow for more public gatherings, and that will in turn allow more people to visit businesses.

“Our economy is connected, you can’t separate the economy from public health. So the idea of not just an open economy but a thriving economy is dependent on us fixing the public health problem,” said Feehan.

The primary is scheduled for august 11th.
