Minnesota man in North Dakota cornfield standoff faces 4 felonies

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Moorhead, Minn., man who authorities say hid in a North Dakota cornfield and kept them at bay for 11 hours faces four felony charges.

The Forum newspaper reports that 21-year-old Dylan Pederson is charged with terrorizing, reckless endangerment, fleeing police and preventing arrest. He was due in court Friday afternoon.

Authorities say Pederson fled into the cornfield north of Fargo after a gun incident in a car with his girlfriend. He was taken into custody shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday after he was seen moving by an officer guarding the perimeter of the cornfield.
