Minnesota woman dies in Fountain City crash
FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. (WKBT)- A Minnesota woman was killed in a crash in Fountain City Wednesday evening.
The crash happened about 5:55 p.m. on State Highway 35 near Eagle St.
Shortly after first responders arrived to the scene, the woman stopped breathing. Life saving efforts were made, but were unsuccessful.
Witnesses told officers the woman was traveling northbound on Hwy. 35 when she crossed the centerline, accelerated and struck two parked cars.
The victim was identified as Jodi King, 45, of Cloquet, Minnesota.
The cause remains under investigation.
