Moon Tunes returns to La Crosse’s Riverside Park
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A popular free concert series is back for its sixth annual summer of music.
Moon Tunes kicked off on Thursday night in La Crosse’s Riverside Park with a performance by Grammy award-winning artist Bill Miller.
The event is free and open to the public on Thursday evenings.
One local concert-goer came to see his old friend Bill perform, but was so impressed he’s planning on coming back for more.
“It’s a great opportunity for just the community to get together and have some fun together and enjoy some good music and a beautiful evening,” said George Neill, a first time event-goer.
Other acts scheduled for this summer include a tribute to Johnny Cash and the Allman Brothers.
More information can be found on the Moon Tunes website.
