MOSES Conference teaches attendees about organic products

Food was on the brain at the La Crosse Center on Saturday, educating people about organic products.

The 27th annual Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Services, or MOSES, is an annual event that focuses on local agriculture. The event brings out hundreds of people interested in organic farming, ranging from farmers to business owners, all to talk about organic products in our area.

MOSES is a nonprofit that promotes organic and sustainable agriculture by providing the education, resources, and expertise farmers need to succeed.

“This is an amazing place for community, for folks to come together and feel that sense of fighting the battle together, that they have that, that they have that in common, and it’s just some time to let loose and make connections,” said Peace Coffee Events and Engagement Coordinator Ryan Brown.

US Senator Tammy Baldwin was also at the event, advocating for a ‘Grown in Wisconsin’ economy to help keep our rural communities strong.
