Mostly Clear & Comfortable Tonight -Bill Graul

Warm Wednesday... But Still Not Too Humid

Tonight’s Forecast Low: 62F / Wednesday’s Forecast High: 87F…

Small chance (10-20% at most)  for an isolated shower or sprinkles in spots through sunset this evening. Otherwise, expect mostly clear skies tonight with comfortable lows in the 50s for most, but low 60s will be likely in the La Crosse area. Still not all that humid tonight, but a bit hazy due to wildfire smoke that drifted back south across the region. In fact, an Air Quality Alert has been extended for the northern half of Wisconsin through at least midday Wednesday.

Looking Ahead… Increasing clouds Thursday as a boundary moves in from the west. This will also bring a chance for scattered showers and t-storms later Thursday afternoon and evening. Highs Thursday will drop back into the upper 70s to around 80F. Just isolated t-showers possible Friday, with highs in the mid 80s… but also more humid.

8 Day Build 3

Very warm and humid for the weekend, with slight chances for scattered showers and t-storms both days. However, there will also be plenty of dry hours, so keep those outdoor plans for now. High temps will warm well into the 80s, perhaps even flirt with 90F in spots.

Hot and humid into next week, with highs likely topping 90F in many spots Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s to around 70F. Monday looks dry at this point, with slight rain chances Tuesday and Wednesday.

Have a great night! -Bill Graul
