Mt. La Crosse prepares to open for season
Crews are busy making snow at the hill on La Crosse's South Side
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Snow is blanketing the area for the first time this year.
And Mt. La Crosse couldn’t be more thrilled to pile on.
Crews are busy making snow at the hill on La Crosse’s South Side.
The effort is continuing around the clock.
With cold weather now the norm, it is almost time to head to the hill.
“We focused all of our efforts on one run. We’d rather get open with at least something. So we’ll have one run hopefully open this Saturday and Sunday,” said Mt. La Crosse general manager Darcie Briedel.
If temperatures rise the opening could be delayed.
