Mt. La Crosse wrapping up season
Sunday likely the last day for the season
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Skiing fans will have to get their fill in this weekend.
Mt. La Crosse is set to close for the season this weekend.
The hill south of La Crosse opened back in early December, following one of the earlier starts to their season in years.
Staff at the hill are thrilled with how 2020 went.
“The conditions have been consistently nice for the most part. We did have to shut down for a couple of days over the Christmas week, which was a little difficult so that made us a little concerned early on, but after that the weather been actually pretty decent.”
Unless a big snow storm hits the area this spring, the hill will close for the season on Sunday.
