Much Less Smoky Tonight & Less Humid Too -Bill Graul

Isolated T-Showers Possible Tuesday & Thursday

Tonight’s Forecast Low: 57F / Monday’s Forecast High: 81F…

Smoke from Canadian wildfires finally shifted west of our area today… making for bluer skies and a pleasant afternoon to welcome in the 1st day of August. Humidity was quite a bit lower as well. Comfortable temps and lower humidity will be the rule tonight, with lows ranging from 46F (north/east) to 57F in the La Crosse area. Perhaps open up the windows tonight for some fresh air.

Mix of sun and clouds Monday and humidity will remain low. Highs will likely range from the mid 70s to low 80s, similar to what we saw on Sunday. Smoke may filter back across parts of the area through Tuesday, so an Air Quality Alert remains in effect for areas west of the Miss. River.

Looking Ahead… It’s looking like our area could see small chances for isolated t-showers just about every other day over the next week or so. As of now, I’ve included small rain chances (20%) on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and next Monday.

Highs temps will mainly be in the 80s in most areas this week, then warm to near 90F Saturday through Monday. Expect humidity levels to rise by the end of the week as well. Have a good Sunday night and a great week ahead! -Bill Graul
