Much Needed Rain Chances Finally Appear In The Forecast -Isabella Hulsizer
Much Needed Rain
A storm system expected to reach our region overnight, and into tomorrow afternoon, is predicted to drop some precipitation. This rainfall is much needed following the drought conditions our entire region is under. Rain would help ease the very dry grasses. It is forecasted that many portions of the viewing area will get some amount of rain, most under an inch.
Level Two Risk
Looking ahead to tomorrow, portions of our region are under a Level One & Level Two risk from the Storm Prediction Center. There are chances for stray thunderstorms late tonight, a little past midnight. It looks like the thunderstorms could take a midday break, and return in the late afternoon and evening. These storms have the potential to bring gusty winds, hail and heavy precipitation.
Remember to stay weather aware tomorrow, as these conditions are ever changing. Bill and I will continue tracking them for you and providing updates. -Isabella
