Murder mystery book helping students in La Crosse get into reading

A grant from the La Crosse Public Education Foundation bought the books

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A La Crosse school is hoping reluctant readers will turn the page on picking up books.

Two Logan High School teachers are using a high school-centric murder mystery to help bring the story to life.

The group held a murder mystery dinner Thursday morning to make reading more fun.

“Sometimes we have reluctant learners. And I just think everyone likes to read. It’s just trying to figure out what do you like to read,” said LaCrossRoads coordinator Dorothy Hart.

The books were purchased with a grant from the La Crosse Public Education Foundation.
