LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – A national organization is offering online courses to help educate people on Alzheimer’s.

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is holding a free virtual conference on August 20th for Wisconsin residents affected by Alzheimer’s disease during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The conference will provide information and advice from health, legal, and caregiving experts.

The experts will talk about brain health in the time of COVID-19, the power of attorney and elder law,  and connecting with caregivers during the pandemic.

“Well, we believe knowledge is power. Having information that can help you is critical, and that’s what this conference is all about,” said Chris Schneider, the Communications Director of the AFA.
