Nebraska authorities nab man wanted in Illinois, Wisconsin
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska authorities say a 27-year-old man wanted by law enforcement authorities in Wisconsin and Illinois has been captured in Lincoln.
Officers from the Metro Fugitive Task Force arrested Heineken Ellis after a three-block foot chase on Monday.
The U.S. Marshals Service says Chicago police want to talk to Ellis about a homicide last month. Ellis is wanted in Wisconsin for a parole violation. He’s served prison time there for disarming a police officer.
The Marshals Service didn’t say why Ellis was in Lincoln.
