New La Crosse Kwik Trip offers small grocery store experience

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Kwik Trip’s latest rendition of a gas station/convenience store held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday.

Representatives of the La Crosse-based company and the city cut the ribbon Tuesday for the new store at Mormon Coulee Road and Ward Avenue in La Crosse.

It features more space than other Kwik Trips, with a small grocery store experience, 20 gas pumps, a separate diesel fueling station, a lot of parking and a car wash.

“The biggest thing you’ll see at this store is more space,” said Carl Rick, Kwik Trip’s training manager. “It’s going to be a lot easier and more convenient to shop. Additional parking will allow you to get in and out of the lot more conveniently as well.”

Kwik Trip donated $1,000 each to the La Crosse Fire Department and the city’s Police Department K-9 Unit at the ceremony.
