New pedestrian bridge in La Crescent will provide safe way to cross Hwy. 61
LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) — People who walk or bike in La Crescent soon will have a new, safe way to cross busy Hwy. 61 instead of darting among vehicles.
The new pedestrian bridge crossing from First Street to South Chestnut Street will connect downtown La Crescent to the Wagon Wheel Trail.
The bridge will begin at the dead end of First at Ace Hardware Store and will include a spiral ramp descending to South Chestnut.
