New Video of the first group of Afghan refugees arriving at Volk Field
The Dept. of Defense has not said how many refugees will be housed at Fort McCoy
VOLK FIELD, Wis. (WKBT)- The Department of Defense released video of the first group of Afghan refugees arriving Sunday afternoon at Volk Field. After landing and removing a small number of bags, multiple buses transported the group to Fort McCoy.
The DOD did not release any video or pictures of the refugees, nor has it said how many refugees will stay, at least temporarily, at the base.
