News 8 launches The Compassion Project: Pay It Forward
Nominate someone to receive $250
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — To inspire compassionate acts in our community, News 8 will air a special series, “The Compassion Project: Pay It Forward.”
We’ll give a viewer $250. That viewer can take up to 60 minutes to give the money to someone who they would like to “pay it forward” to. We’d like to reward people who are making a difference in our community. The money can’t be given to a family member and we must be able to bring our news cameras along to tell the story.
Nominate a person who you think deserves to be recognized. Their story will also be featured on-air and on our The Compassion Project webpage.
