‘No Bullies, Get Real’ musical performed at Lincoln Middle School

SOTA II students wrote scenes based on their experiences

Some La Crosse middle School students are doing their part to help put a stop to bullying.

Students at the School of Technology and the Arts two put on a musical Thursday called ‘No Bullies, Get Real.’

The students wrote the scenes and acted in the musical, which was based on their own experiences with bullying,

“We put a lot of time and energy into our classroom community, into taking care of each other, but we’re also the school of technology and the arts, so we’re here, we’re using our theatre technology, we’re using our performing arts skills to try to learn, but also to try to pass on a message to our other middle school students about what they can change in their own lives,” said SOTA II Lead Teacher Josh Wolcott.

The performance was presented at Lincoln Middle School.
