‘Non-Food Drive’ scheduled in La Crosse

Cavalier Cupbpard, Hunger Task Force asking for personal hygiene items

The Cavalier Cupboard at Western Technical College and the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse are asking the community to donate personal hygiene items at a “Non-Food Drive.”

The Cavalier Cupboard is part of the Food Recovery Program through The Hunger Task Force to help feed our local community. The drive will be on October 11, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Our Town on George Street

Students who use the food pantry are in need of basic hygiene items like soap, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, lotion, deodorant, laundry detergent, feminine hygiene items, disinfectant wipes, and diapers and wipes.

Donations go to support the Cavalier Cupboard. Additional donations will go to The Hunger Task Force for other food programs. For more information, contact (608) 793-1002 or email www.lacrossehtf.org.
