Nonprofit challenges James Corden to kayak karaoke on the Mississippi River
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The American Cancer Society is hoping to challenge a CBS late night host to some karaoke on the Mississippi River.
The North Region of the nonprofit is trying to get James Corden to head north with his popular “Carpool Karaoke” this summer. But they’re hoping to put a twist on the formula by putting Corden in a Kayak heading down the river!
If he agrees, the public will then be invited to join the kayaking trip to help raise money for cancer care.
“We do a lot of stuff on the local level that a lot of people aren’t aware of, and a lot of their donations do stay int his area as well as help out national research for cancer research and funding,” said American Cancer Society Community Development Manager Alex Deshler
The American Cancer Society is waiting to hear back from Corden though so no date has been set at this time.
