Northern Engraving purchased by UK company
7635086SPARTA, Wis. — Sparta manufacturer Northern Engraving Corporation has been purchased by United Kingdom-based Lawrence Automotive, company officials announced Tuesday.
Lawrence Automotive acquired 100% of stock for Northern Engraving stock and Northern Automotive Systems Limited, a subsidiary of Northern Engraving based in Wales.
Northern Engraving has manufacturing facilities in Sparta, West Salem, Holmen and Spring Grove, Minnesota.
It’s not clear if any of Northern Engraving’s employees in the La Crosse area will lose their jobs.
