Not As Chilly Tonight. Another Mild Day Thursday.

Wednesday’s High: 41°F, Tonight’s Low: 30°F. Last Updated: Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at 5:45pm…

It was a cold start to this New Year’s Day, but winds shifted from the south and helped temperatures warm into the 30s and low 40s.

Clouds moved in this  afternoon and will remain in place overnight. We could also see a few flurries this evening and tonight. Temperatures won’t be as cold tonight with lows in the upper 20s to 30 degrees.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy and seasonably mild. High temperatures will once again top out in the upper 30s to lower 40s. A few flurries will also be possible.

Looking Ahead… Colder air will start to build into the Upper Midwest on Friday. Expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s.

We’ll see a bit more sunshine on Saturday, but temperatures will be even colder. Highs will be in the mid to upper 20s – where temperatures should be this time of the year.

A disturbance will bring a slight chance of rain/snow on Sunday with highs in the mid 30s.

That chance of a little light snow or flurries will continue Monday, but temperatures will be colder with highs in the upper 20s.

Have a great night! –Michelle Poedel
