Not even an ankle injury can slow Logan’s Elmore

Senior scores four touchdowns in 27-21 road win Friday night

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WKBT) — There’s a reason News 8 put a GoPro camera on Logan’s Aric Elmore in the News 8 Highlight Zone High School Football Preview Show.

Elmore, a senior, scored four touchdowns on 237 yards in a 27-21 win at Eau Claire Memorial Friday night.

At the end of the first half, however, he was seen lying on the ground. He limped off the field with an ankle injury, with help from the athletic trainer.

“I just think I can’t leave my team behind, so I’m not a quitter. Even if I have a torn ACL, I still try to find a way to play because I can’t let my team down because I know they need me,” Elmore said.

The Rangers face Eau Claire North in week two.
