Not Quite as Cold Tonight… But Still Below Average -Bill Graul

A Bit Warmer Tomorrow... Then Much Warmer Friday

Tonight’s Forecast Low: 32F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 57F…

Temps early Wednesday morning were in the teens and 20s. The low of 23F made it the coldest morning so far this season in La Crosse. You probably noticed lots of leaves falling from the trees this morning, thanks to several hours of a hard freeze.

Lows This Morning

Wednesday Morning Lows

It won’t be quite as cold tonight into Thursday morning, but still chilly and still about 8-12 degrees below average. Expect lows in the low 30s in the La Crosse area, but low-mid 20s in traditional colder spots north and east.

2020 Evening 8 To 8

A bit warmer Thursday with sunny to partly cloudy skies. Expect highs in the 52-58F range across the News 8 viewing area. Winds Thursday will be from the NW around 5-15 mph. More seasonable Thursday night with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Wkbt Master

Much warmer Friday with highs in the upper 60s to around 70F, under partly cloudy skies. Breezy and warm Saturday with highs in the low-mid 70s. Windy and warm Sunday with highs in the mid 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. The strong winds are in advance of a cold front that will bring the chance for much needed showers and perhaps even some t-storms Sunday night and Monday. High temps Monday will slip back into the 60s… and still windy too.

8 Day Build 3

Looking Ahead… Cooler behind the front next Tuesday through Thursday. Expect mainly dry conditions during that stretch with a mix of clouds and sun. Highs will be in the mid 50s Tuesday, around 50F Wednesday, then low 50s Thursday. Overnight lows will dip back into the 30s, perhaps 20s in colder spots north/east.

Have a wonderful Wednesday night! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
