October ‘Community Conversations’ focuses on upcoming election
La Crosse, Wis. (WKBT) – There is a lot of information about the upcoming election flying by, but it’s hard to keep up with it all.
The virtual ‘Community Conversation’ held on Tuesday helped clear up questions many have.
Wisconsin Election Commission’s spokesperson, Reid Magney, joined in on the event.
Reid walked people through absentee voting – starting with the basics, then dived into voting laws and facts versus fiction.
Afterward, there was a Q&A session.
People ask about poll-watching, COVID-19 safety measures, and what to do if you request a ballot but then decide to vote in-person on election day.

The next ‘Community Conversation‘ is on November 18th and will discuss COVID-19 in our community.
