Officer involved in a Brooklyn Center shooting

BROOKLYN CENTER, MN (AP) — Authorities say a police officer is involved in a shooting in Brooklyn Center.

A Hennepin County sheriff’s dispatcher tells the Star Tribune shots were fired about 4 a.m. Friday at an intersection near Interstate 694.

No other details were released.

Another shooting in the same area happened Thursday. A man was shot and died outside a hotel.
