Oktoberfest Royal Family tours St. Rose Convent in La Crosse
LA CROSSE (WKBT)–Oktoberfest is over, but the spirit of the weekend still remains.
The Oktoberfest Royal Family made a stop at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse.
It’s part of a royal family community tour of over 25 visits to places like schools and nursing homes.
Many of the schools invite the tour back every year.
“We are spreading gemütlichkeit*,” said the 2022 Oktoberfest Festmaster, Douglas Kratt. “We get to benefit as much as spreading that gemütlichkeit as anybody that gets it rained upon them.”
Kratt also says that they focus heavily on spreading joy, not just at Oktoberfest, but all year long.
